The reason Leon and the team took on the assisted living project is easy to explain, it's in his blood. He wants to make sure that you or your loved ones have the opportunity to live with dignity, peace of mind, and knowing that no one will be neglected on his watch. 

Leon's mother Grace was Executive Director of Alzheimer's Society of Montreal, West End District, later founding Alzheimer Groupe (A.G.I) inc. Grace was also the first female President and Chairman of the board at Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital in Laval, Quebec. Grace also was the Director of volunteers and public relations at Mount Sinai Hospital, President of Na'amat Montreal and the Chairman Kosher meal-on-wheels, Montreal.

Leon's father Joe, was President of Balfour Lodge Montreal. He was also the founder and President of Lion's Club Chomedey, Laval. Joe has also been on the board of directors of the Baron De Hirsch Cemetery for over 40 years and counting. The Alter Family also owned the assisted living facility Pension Fleur de Lys in Piedmont, Quebec.
